Job Description:

We are seeking a Solutions Developer with demonstrated skills in Web and Database design, analysis, development of specifications, and programming for a 12-month, hybrid role supporting our Richmond, VA client.  The solutions developer will perform operation and maintenance support on legacy .Net applications and to augment client's in-house team in supporting .Net, Power Platform, and COTS packages implementations. 

This individual will be expected to work with the current development team to quickly learn our client's base system to support and expand it.  Position will develop & support web based .Net applications as part of the Enterprise Solutions that enable client to effectively manage technology investments, programs, and projects. The position will ensure development is done in compliance with client's security, database, and application standards.  Position will work closely with Data Architects and Applications Architects to ensure application performance and throughput targets are maintained.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in application development.
  • Experience in MVC, C#.net, VB.net, ASP.net, Oracle and/or SQL.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, jQuery, Ajax.
  • Ability to collaboratively develop and deliver solutions with both onsite and remote teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in communicating and coordinating with internal business customers and IT analysts to determine software requirements and system impacts.
  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Apps Portals) and Azure exposure beneficial.
